Studio Calls

Privacy

Last updated November 2, 2026. Studio Calls is run by Sean Gil in Austin, Texas. Questions: hello@studiocalls.com.

What we collect

Your name, email, the places you show in (each city or ZIP code with how far you'll travel), and the preferences you choose (mediums, opportunity types, fee limit, schedule, and time zone). Optionally: a portfolio link, eligibility details, and what you think is a fair price.

If you use the application kit, we keep what you add to it: your bio, artist statement, CV, portfolio images, and the statement drafts we write for you. We also keep the calls you save and the notes and status you track for each one.

We record which links in our emails you click, so we can learn which opportunities are useful.

Eligibility details

If you tell us you're, for example, a student, BIPOC, or a veteran, we use that only to include open calls restricted to those groups. It is never shown to anyone, sold, or shared, and you can remove it anytime in your settings.

Who we share with

Only the services that run Studio Calls: our host (Laravel Cloud), our email provider (Resend), our payment processor (Stripe, which handles card details; we never see your full card number), and our AI provider (OpenCode). When you ask for a statement draft, we send your bio, your statement, and the call's details to the AI provider to write it. Nothing else about you goes to the AI provider; the open-call research it does every morning doesn't involve your information. We don't sell your data.

Deleting your data

Email us and we'll delete your account and everything tied to it.
